This can be served as it or without nuts and shaped in a mold of a brain or eyeball for Halloween/Samhain. Or a heart for valentines day

Ingredients
  • 2 8 ounce packages Cream Cheese
  • 1 8 ounce packages shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 6 ounce package dried Cranberries (I use Craisins)
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey

Directions
  1. Combine/mix all ingredients in a bowl and shape into a ball. Transfer the ball into a giant zip lock bag containing 1 cup of chopped Walnuts or Pecans.
  2. Roll the cheese ball, in the bag, so the nuts are on the surface of it. Allow the cheese ball to sit over night for the ingredients to combine well.
  3. Yields: 1 big (or 2 small) Cheese Balls

Great tasty cheese ball high5 thanks

Thanks for the fun recipe! I added freshly mashed plums to cream cheese. Not only was it tasty with a nice sweet flavor but it was ugly and perfect for the brain mold. The kids were horrified by its appearance but ate it all. Have a Happy Halloween! I'm going to use your recipe this year!

I think I'd prefer the heart shape to dig in, LOL. The ingredients here sound great!

The recipe sounds good... I think I agree with Juels and prefer the heart shape!!! five forks
