Meatloaf With Ketchup Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

Meatloaf:

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1/2 C ketchup

1/3 C tomato juice

1/2 t salt and pepper

1/8 t red pepper flakes

2 eggs, beaten

3/4 C bread crumbs

1/4 C chopped onion

2 t mustard

Topping:

1/4 C ketchup

1/2 t mustard

2 t brown sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F

Combine(for the meatloaf) all ingredients but the beef, blend thoroughly

Add beef, mix well

Line loaf in a baking dish, in a log form

Combine all topping ingredients in a bowl, mix well, and then pour over meatloaf

Bake for 35-45 minutes

Sounds like a good old fashioned meat loaf dad made. You list 1 t red pepper though.
I would add some chopped frsh green or red pepper, 1/4 cup.
