How to make it

  • Prep does not include chill time or cooking of a cherry compote- probably could use a good cherry pie filling
  • Chop ladyfingers finely and mix in the melted butter.
  • Press this into a 26 "springform pan .
  • Mix the softened Cream cheese, yogurt and lemon juice together and set aside
  • Soak/soften 3 sheets of gelatin leaves and mix into the red cherry compote and set aside
  • Combine remaining 6 sheets of gelatin softened with the sugar dissolved in the 150 ml of water
  • Then mix this gelatine into the softened cream cheese mixture
  • Take 3 / 4 of this cream cheese mixture and mix into to the red cherry compote mixture and place into the chilled crust
  • Melt chocolate and stir in the remaining 1/4 the cream cheese mixture.
  • . Place chocolate mixture onto the pink layer and swirl with a fork.
  • Chill cake at least 3 hours or more prior to serving
