Pudding Layer Cake Recipe

	Mrsc543 / All my dishes 2 months, 4 weeks ago I found this recipe in my collection. Although I've had it for along time, I've never made it but I love pistachio and thought I would give it a try. Ingredients

1 stick margarine

1 cup chopped walnuts

8 oz softened cream cheese

1 cup confectioners sugar

12 oz Cool Whip

1 pkg instant vanilla pudding

1 pkg instant pistachio pudding

3 cups milk

Directions

First layer:

Melt stick of margarine in a 13x9 pan.

Add 3/4 of the walnuts (reserve a quarter for the topping) and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Freeze until firm

Second layer:

Combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 1/2 of the Cool Whip. Beat together and spread on crust.

Third layer:

Beat together the vanilla and pistachio pudding with the milk until thickened. Spread over second layer.

Fourth layer:

Top with the remaining Cool Whip and walnuts.
