Ingredients
  • Puff Pastry shells
  • dried pitted prunes
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • lemon zest

Directions
  1. Bring a cup of water to boil with 3 teaspoons of sugar and then add about half a can of dried, pitted prunes. Simmer them for about 10-15 mins, then put them in a food processor to get them nicely mashed up.
  2. Fill each shell with sweet prune mix and sprinkle confectioner's sugar on top.
  3. I like to add a little grated zest on top and lemon rind slivers on plate for garnish.
