How to make it

  • Combine pomegranate juice and sugar in a saucepan over medium high heat.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer stirring occasionally, until the sugar disolves and the mixture thickens to a more syrupy consistency and reduces to about 1/2 cup. (aprox 10 minutes) Remove from heat and allow to cool before mixing with remaining ingredients.
  • Serve in tall glasses with ice and garnish with a cherry and orange slice
  • prep time does not include chill time
