How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray
  • Cut each pita in half and, using your fingers, separate each half into two thin pieces
  • Brush each side with melted butter, and stack several on top of one another
  • Using a pizza cutter, slice each into four wedges
  • Place on baking sheet
  • Sprinkle cheese, garlic powder and italian seasoning evenly over bread wedges
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crisp and golden brown
  • Remove from oven and cool
  • Makes 32 chips
  • STORAGE TIP
  • Store in a tightly covered TIN, not plastic. They will stay crisp longer

    Don't you just love these?? I've made them over and over......my only difference is that I use the butter flavored nonstick spray instead of melted butter.
