GARBANZO PASTA

- 1 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 can chickpeas, drained shopping list
- 1 tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 1 tsp dill shopping list
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 can (14oz) diced tomatoes shopping list
- 2 cups pasta shells shopping list
- 1 small broccoli, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated romano cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a sauce pan, heat oil.
- Add chickpeas and spices.
- Cook until chickpeas turn golden.
- Add tomatoes with juice and simmer 5 minutes.
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Add broccoli 2 minutes before pasta is done.
- Drain, but reserve 2/3 cup of the cooking liquid.
- Return pasta & broccoli to pot.
- Add chickpea mixture and cooking water.
- Serve with grated cheese.
