How to make it

  • Boil the beets until soft (30-45 min). Let cool down and peel the skin off. The skin should come of by itself if you run beets under cold water. Grate beets finely and fry on a pan with a teaspoon of butter. Lower down the heat and sauté 2 more minutes. Meanwhile combine in a bowl sour cream, flour, horseradish, salt and pepper and add to the beets. Mix thoroughly and fry few more minutes. If necessary add some more sour cream or horseradish.

    Another wonderful Polish recipe. This is so lovely served with beef, pork or chicken. Actually, it is great served with most anything. HIGH 5.
