How to make it

  • Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup pecans.
  • Place pears in bottom of greased round ovenware cake dish.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture then sift together dry ingredients.
  • Combine egg, milk and butter then add dry ingredients all at once and mix until smooth.
  • Pour over pears then sprinkle with remaining pecans.
  • Bake at 325 for 50 minutes then cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
