How to make it

  • Boil chicken, cut up and put in the bottom of a shallow casserole dish.
  • Melt butter and pour over chicken.
  • Cut up eggs and mix with 1 c. self rising flour and 1 cup milk.
  • Pour over chicken
  • Bring to a boil the soup and broth. Pour over the chicken
  • Bake 350, 45 min
  • **If you like add 2 cans mixed veggies or 1 bag defrosted veggies

    My family enjoys making this same recipe, but without the eggs. One day when I was feeling froggy, I added a lot of vegetables - wild rice, onion, peas, carrots, mushrooms, pimento, cilantro - whatever I had in the fridge. We could hardly tell the difference, except for the cilantro. It just goes to show, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
