How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 then melt chocolate with margarine over very low heat.
  • Stir until smooth then set aside.
  • Beat eggs with 3/4 cup sugar then gradually stir in chocolate and vanilla.
  • Beat whites until soft peaks form then gradually add remaining sugar and beat until stiff.
  • Gently fold whites into chocolate mixture then pour 3/4 of the batter into a spring form pan.
  • Cover and refrigerate remaining batter then bake cake 35 minutes and cool completely.
  • Spread remaining batter over top of cake then refrigerate overnight.
