Sausage Spinach Toretllini Soup

Found this recipe in Taste of Home and added my ideas and let me tell you, it's quick, easy and soooo good with a piece of hot buttered bread
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. sweet sausage (pork, turkey or chicken) shopping list
- 4 cups water shopping list
- 3 cups chopped cabbage shopping list
- 1 can Fire roasted (14-1/2 oz) diced tomatoes shopping list
- 2 can beef broth shopping list
- 1 can French onion soup shopping list
- 1-3/4 cup water mixed with 1 pkg dried onion soup mix shopping list
- 1 bag of baby spinach shopping list
- 1 cup of parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 tbsp Sun Dried Tomatoe Paste shopping list
- Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika shopping list
- 1 pkg (12-16 oz) tortellini ( Meat or cheese) shopping list
How to make it
- In large saucepan, cook sausage till no longer pink, (drain if too much oil in pan)
- Stir in everything else except Tortellini.
- Bring to boil over medium heat, cover and lower heat to simmer for one hour
- Add tortellini and cook 7-9 minutes longer or till cooked and tender
- Enjoy
