Dolly Partons Jolly Cheesecake Pudding Recipe

  • Crust
  • 1 cup unbleached, all-purpose flour
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup pecan or walnut pieces
  • Filling
  • 1 8-oz. package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 8-oz. container whipped topping, such as Cool Whip
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 3.9-oz. boxes instant chocolate pudding and pie filling mix

Directions
  1. Crust
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°
  3. Stir together flour and butter until blended.
  4. Mix in the nuts.
  5. Press the mixture in an even layer across the bottom of a 13-by-9-inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack.
  8. Filling
  9. Combine the cream cheese and sugar and beat until creamy and smooth.
  10. Gently fold in the whipped topping until incorporated.
  11. Spread over the cooled crust.
  12. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix until thickened.
  13. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  14. Chill the cheesecake pudding in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  15. Serves 6–8
