This appetizer disappears quickly. There never seems to be enough of this quick and easy appetizer

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of cheddar or Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 pound of crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 roll of thin party pumpernickel or rye bread

Directions
  1. Oven temperature 400 degrees
  2. Mix mayonnaise, cheese, and bacon together and spread on bread.
  3. Put in oven on cookie sheet and bake for 4 minues until bubbly and hot.
  4. Spread may be made ahead. Bacon must be very crisp.
