Three Berry Crumble Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups blueberries

3 cups raspberries

3 cups blackberries

Can substitute frozen mixed berries from Costco. Works well!

Sugar to taste

3 T cornstarch

juice from one large lemon

1 1/2 c large flake oats

1 1/2 c brown sugar ( I used1 cup)

1 1/2 c butter, softened

1 1/2 c toasted, chopped hazelnuts

Directions

Wash and toss berries in bowl. Combine the sugar, cornstartch and lemon juice. Add to berries and mix gently. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and butter.

Preheat oven to 350F. Select 9" x13" pan and brush with butter.

Add fruit mixture.

Sprinkle on oat topping evenly.

Bake 30-45 minutes.

Cool a little before serving and add a scoop of ice cream.

A couple of things on this recipe -
1) The butter measurement is off - I used 1 1/2 cups of butter and it was swimming in butter - 1 1/2 STICKS of butter is plenty.
2) Recipe calls for flour to mix with oatmeal & brown sugar & butter for topping - but there is no flour measurement listed in ingredients.

If you make the adjustment with the butter, this is really a delicious recipe - especially warm with ice cream.
