How to make it

  • Place peas in a medium bowl and mash thoroughly with a potato masher or fork.
  • Add avocado, yogurt, lime juice, garlic, and seasonings. Continue to mash until blended.
  • Stir in tomatoes, onion, and, if you like, some cilantro and/or jalapenso. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread on sandwiches or topping for omelettes.

    Great recipe! I used 1-1/2 cups of frozen peas that I cooked and mashed instead of the canned. I could taste the peas at first but it wore off and I couldn't stop eating it. I think serving this to someone who didn't know there was peas in this wouldn't be able to detect it.
    A great option if you're looking for a high protein snack that will fill you up! :)
