Holy Moly Gaucamole

- 1- 15oz can early (young) peas, drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup mashed avocado (about 1 medium-small avocado's worth) shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped cherry or grape tomatoes shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt shopping list
- 4 tsp lime juice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chopped garlic shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 1/8 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1/8 tsp chili powder shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- Optional: chopped fresh cilantro, chopped jarred jalapenos shopping list
How to make it
- Place peas in a medium bowl and mash thoroughly with a potato masher or fork.
- Add avocado, yogurt, lime juice, garlic, and seasonings. Continue to mash until blended.
- Stir in tomatoes, onion, and, if you like, some cilantro and/or jalapenso. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread on sandwiches or topping for omelettes.
