Divine Con Casa
From jolielives 14 years agoIngredients
- 1 Box Velveeta cheese shopping list
- 1 Jar picante sauce (I like mine Hot, but choose yours to suit your pallate) shopping list
- 1 Can refried beans Plain shopping list
How to make it
- In a Microwave Safe Dish, cut up the Velveeta Cheese.
- I slice the boxes contents & then make cubes as these melt faster in the microwave.
- Put in 1/4 of the jar of the Picante (Tomatoes, Onions, Garlic, Peppers, Jalipinos & Seasoning)
- Put in microwave for 2 Minutes.
- In a frying pan, empty the Refried Beans, heat & stir. I also smash the Refried Beans even more.
- Do not burn them.
- I know this sounds awful, until you've tasted it. After you taste it, you will never make Cheese Dip with Picante Sauce, without Refried Beans. Ever.
- Add at least 1/2 of the Refried Beans to the Velveeta & Picante Sauce & stir.
- Add more Picante Sauce, stir & put back into microwave.
- The trick is to watch this in the microwave, so it doesn't burn.
- The size of your Velveeta Box determines how much Picante & Refried Beans you can mix into it. If you are not sure if your guests like it as spicy as you, then make it mild & supply Hotter Picante on the side.
- I keep Corn Chips to taste this with as well as Veggies. Bring both with you to the party & try not to eat it all before you get there.
- This keeps really well in the frig. & can be reheated in the microwave until the last bite is gone.

- Happy Halloween

I've never had it with beans but I can see where it would be delicious together. Velveeta is something I buy about once every 2 years. My hubby refuses to eat it - he's such a fussy person about food - me I eat almost anything!
