Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine 1 cup crumbs, sugar and butter. Press onto the bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a greased 9 inch spring form pan; set aside (See note)
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, milk and chocolate syrup until smooth.
  • Dissolve coffee granules in hot water; add to cream cheese mixture
  • Fold in whippped cream. Pour into the crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs
  • Cover and freeze for 8 hours or overnight. Uncover and remove from the freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Garmish with coffee beans if desired.
  • Note: I cut strips of waxed paper for the sides of the spring form pan and a circle for the bottom and butter them. It is easier to remove the torte, with crumbs in tact.
