Carmely Apple Delight

I made up this recipe when my sister had her apple tree farm, it's a family favorite!
Ingredients
- 8 apples (4 green, 4 red) shopping list
- one small bag of caramels shopping list
- 1/2 stick of butter divided shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp, nut meg shopping list
- 1/2c. confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1/2c. sweet condensed milk shopping list
- 1/2c. crushed pecans shopping list
- 1/2c. crushed walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Core apples and cut into bite-sized chunks. Set aside.
- in medium saucepan, combine caramels, milk 1/2 of the butter
- Stir until caramels are melted and saucy.
- In small pan, melt the rest of butter, and toss in the nuts, just until tender (about 3 minutes)
- drain on paper towel, then toss nuts with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
- In a square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray put in apples and nuts.
- Pour caramel sauce over the mixture.Bake in oven at 350 degrees until apples are just tender, (about 15-20 m)
- Cool for about five minutes. Top with whip cream, and a little sprinke of cinnamon.
- I usually serve this in those little dessert dishes, so the servings may vary. .
