How to make it

  • Fry sausage meat and set aside.
  • Saute onion and celery in butter.
  • Mix all ingredients with sausage, onion and celery.
  • Stuff turkey lightly ( can also be baked in a casserole).

    Great post Janice. Yes, I use Jimmy Dean sage sausage with a combo of cornbread and bread. Never added milk to the bread so will try that this time!

    I think this is how my MIL used to make her stuffing. Our family recipe is a Ritz crackers stuffing & if I varied I might be shot. maybe I will try it not on a holiday.
