How to make it

  • Saute the onions in the butter over low heat until golden.
  • Stir in the tomato puree, cinnamon, cloves , yoghurt and cook over medium heat for a few minutes or until mixture thickens a bit
  • Add the mushrooms and stir to coat them and add the salt, pepper, and chili powder and cook a minute or two.
  • Add the stock and bring to a boil then simmer about 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with the cilantro and serve with steamed rice and Indian flat bread
