Ancho Chile Salt Recipe
this is a super easy recipe...but it adds a lot to foods... beef, potatoes etc

Ingredients
  • 2 large dried ancho chiles
  • 1/2-1 teaspoons coarse kosher salt

Directions
  1. Toast chiles in small skillet over medium heat until darker and aromatic, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  2. Cut in half with scissors. Stem, seed, and tear chiles;
  3. grind finely with 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt in spice mill.
