TURKEY-N-STUFFING PIE

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 9” Pie dish shopping list
- Pie Bottom: shopping list
- 1 egg, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth shopping list
- 1/3 cup margarine, melted shopping list
- 5 cups seasoned stuffing cubes shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 1 can ( 4-oz ) Pennsylvania Dutchman mushroom stems and pieces, drained shopping list
- ½ cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 Tbs. margarine shopping list
- 1 Tbs. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 cups cubed cooked turkey shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas no salt added shopping list
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 Tsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- ½ tsp. Dried thyme shopping list
- 1 can ( 10.5-oz ) Campbell's turkey gravy shopping list
- 5 slices process American cheese, cut into strips shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven at 375.
- In a large bowl, combine the egg, broth and Margarine. Stir in stuffing. In a greased 9” pie dish pat onto the bottom and up the sides; set aside.
- For the filling, in a large skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in margarine until tender. Sprinkle with flour until well blended. Stir in the turkey, peas, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and thyme. Stir in gravy. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes.
- Spoon into crust. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Arrange cheese strips in a lattice pattern over filling. Bake 5 -10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
- Serving size: 1 piece
