How to make it

  • PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
  • ********************************************************
  • Sift dry ingredients ..Cream Butter and add sugar slowly.. Mixing well, until Sugar is dissolved.
  • Add dry things alternately with sour cream and vanilla.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. I flatten lightly with a sugar coated glass.
  • Bake 10-12 mins. Until golden on the edges. Let cool on tray for a few.
  • Finish cooling on wire racks.
  • Frost with your fav icing or use the White Cream Cheese Icing Recipe already submitted.
  • Add Sprinkles of your choice..
  • These cookies were a treat my Grandma made for my after school snack.. and my Grandpa’s nitetime snack.
  • These cookies look and taste like the “Lofthouse” brand sold in local supermarkets.
  • This is a soft and moist wonderfully delightful cookie My Grandma use to make.
