NANNAS COOKIES

a soft moist wonderfully delicious sugar cookie..a memory from me to you..from my Grandma.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C. flour shopping list
- 1t. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2t. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2C butter(1 stick.. room temp.) shopping list
- 1C. sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2-1C. sour cream shopping list
- 2T. vanilla or 1 t. nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- ********************************************************
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
- ********************************************************
- Sift dry ingredients ..Cream Butter and add sugar slowly.. Mixing well, until Sugar is dissolved.
- Add dry things alternately with sour cream and vanilla.
- Drop by rounded teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. I flatten lightly with a sugar coated glass.
- Bake 10-12 mins. Until golden on the edges. Let cool on tray for a few.
- Finish cooling on wire racks.
- Frost with your fav icing or use the White Cream Cheese Icing Recipe already submitted.
- Add Sprinkles of your choice..
- These cookies were a treat my Grandma made for my after school snack.. and my Grandpa’s nitetime snack.
- These cookies look and taste like the “Lofthouse” brand sold in local supermarkets.
- This is a soft and moist wonderfully delightful cookie My Grandma use to make.
