Sweet Couscous With Dates Raisins And Almonds

- 5 cups couscous shopping list
- 2 tbl. peanut oil shopping list
- 3 oz. water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tbl. cinnamon shopping list
- 3/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 tbl. confectioners’ sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup dates shopping list
- 1/4 cup raisins shopping list
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Cover couscous with cold water and let stand for 15 minutes, then drain.
- Add peanut oil, 3 ounces water, salt and cinnamon.
- Mix well using your hands to break up clumps.
- Place the couscous in the top of a couscoussier with boiling water and steam for 30 minutes.
- Return couscous to a bowl and mix in olive oil then return to the couscoussier and steam for another 30 minutes.
- Serve the couscous hot, arranged in a cone shape on a large serving platter.
- Sprinkle with confectioners; sugar, dates, raisins and almonds.
