Eggnog Trifle Dessert

- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 2 (3.4 oz) instant French Pudding mix shopping list
- 2 cups eggnog shopping list
- 1/2 tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped, divided shopping list
- 1 (10oz) loaf angel food (or sponge cake) shopping list
- 1 cup raspberry jam shopping list
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- Marasdchino cherries shopping list
How to make it
- In a mixing bowl, beat milk and pudding mix (just until blended). Gradually add eggnog. Add almond extract and 1 cup whipped cream; set aside.
- Slice cake, cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Place 1/4 cake pieces into into a 2 qt serving bowl, top with 1/2 cup jam. Spoon 1 cup of eggnog mixture over. Repeat layer.
- Chill at least 3 hours. Fold powdered sugar and vanilla into remaining whipping cream. Spoon over top of trifle. Decorate with cherries.
