- 1 quart of corn oil shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar shopping list
- 1 cup ricotta cheese shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil over medium heat.
- Beat eggs slightly. Add flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, ricotta cheese, and vanilla. Whisk ingredients together until blended. Batter should be sticky.
- Drop by half tablespoons full (like you would if you were baking cookies) into oil and fry until golden brown, about 3 mins.
- Drain on paper towel and roll in confectioners' sugar. Eat and enjoy!
- Want to powder like the professional's? Place unpowdered zeppoles into brown paper bag. Add a couple heaping tablespons of powdered sugar. Shake bag. Take out and eat!
