- Dough shopping list
- 3 c flour shopping list
- ¼ c sugar shopping list
- ½ teas salt shopping list
- 6 egg yolks shopping list
- 2 c golden raisins (soak raisins in warm water for 30 mins before adding to dough) shopping list
- 1 lemon grated w/juice shopping list
- ¼ c butter shopping list
- ¾ c milk shopping list
- 1 pkg yeast and 1 tsp sugar in ¼ c warm water (let sit 10 mins) shopping list

- 3 lbs ground walnuts shopping list
- 1 lb powered sugar shopping list
- 1 grated lemon w/juice shopping list
- 1 apple shopping list
- 6 egg whites shopping list
- Beat egg whites till stiff peaks form. Fold in remaining ingredients. shopping list

How to make it
- Scald milk and cool.
- Cream butter, sugar, salt, egg yolk, lemon rind and juice.
- Then add yeast milk mixture and flour and form into soft ball.
- Place dough ball into a greased bowl and turn once so that greased side is up.
- Cover and let rise for 2 hours till it doubles in size.
- Roll dough into 10 x 10 squares.
- Sprinkle raisins over the dough, and then press into it. (This helps keep the dough moist.)
- Spread with nut filling and roll into loaf.
- Gently brush the loaves with egg wash.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 25-35 mins.
