How to make it

  • Cook onion in hot fat until yellow.
  • Add meat and cook till brown.
  • Add seasonings, drained beans and soup.
  • Pour into 1 1/2 qt. baking dish.
  • Spoon mashed potatoes over mixture.
  • Bake 30 minutes

    This is called a sheppards pie, except you put shredded cheese on top.

    Tried the recipe this after noon just to get rid of some hamburger. Wow! For such a simple recipe this was very tasty. I also added shredded cheese (thanks angelbaby31766)
