- 1 1/2 cups flour plus 1 tablespoon flour shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup poppy seeds shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- Grated peel from 1 lemon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and poppy seeds.
- In another bowl, whisk together oil, milk, eggs and lemon peel.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
- Add milk mixture and stir just to combine.
- Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center of one muffin comes out clean.
- Cool 5 minutes, then remove muffins from muffin tin.
