Ingredients

How to make it

  • For dough, combine flour, sugar, salt, dill weed, and yeast.
  • Add hot water and butter; stir to form soft dough.
  • Knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.
  • Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Meanwhile, combine filling ingredients.
  • Roll out dough into a 8" by 14" rectangle.
  • Place tuna mixture down the center of the rectangle in a straight line. Fold ends over filling, sealing in filling, to form a roll.
  • Place on a greased baking sheet seam side down.
  • Let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  • Bake at 375 for about 20-30 minutes. Serve hot.

I agree, great idea! I'll have to try this bread soon, have a lot of canned tuna stored in the pantry and have been wondering what to do with it besides the tuna salads.
