Cherokee Huckleberry bread

This recipe makes 1 loaf of very good bread. In the summer we pick wild huckleberries in the woods near where we live. This recipe was such a treat.
Ingredients
- 2 c Self-rising flour 1 c milk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 ts vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 c sugar shopping list
- 2 c berries (huckleberries or blueberries) shopping list
- 1 Stick of butter shopping list
How to make it
- Cream eggs, butter and sugar together.
- Add flour, milk, and vanilla.
- Sprinkle flour on berries to prevent them from going to the bottom.
- Add berries to mixture.
- Put in baking pan and bake in over at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or until done.

Love this - we have wild huckleberries too! Have to watch for bears in our area - they love them too!
