How to make it

  • Sprinkle fish lightly with salt and black pepper
  • Heat oil in a medium stock pot
  • Add fish and cook for 3 minutes on each side
  • Carefully remove fish from pot and set aside
  • Add chopped onion and habanero peppers to the pot
  • Cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes
  • Add stock, thyme, garlic,ginger, cloves and cayenne
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes
  • Add fish and prawns and cook 10 minutes
  • Serve immediately
  • NOTE:
  • Be sure to wear gloves when working with these extremely hot peppers. For milder flavor, use half of a pepper. Four peppers produces an extremely hot broth

    Only the people with a bunch of chutzpa use habaneros. The mere mention of the name deserves honerible mention and making a great dish with them is a 5 for sure. A votra Sante (good health)
