Cajun Shrimp And Rice - Diabetic Friendly

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1 package ( 8.8-oz ) ready-to-serve long grain rice or brown rice shopping list
- 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1 ½ tsp. Minced garlic shopping list
- 2 tsp. cajun seasoning shopping list
- 1 Tbs. Crisco pure olive oil shopping list
- 1 Tbs. butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 package ( 6-oz ) frozen snow peas, thawed shopping list
How to make it
- Cook rice according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the shrimp, garlic and Cajun seasoning in oil and butter or margarine until shrimp turns pink. Add peas and rice. Cook 2-3 minutes longer or until heated through. Yield: 4 servings.
