Meatball and Sausage Surprise

- 2 pounds chop meat shopping list
- 6 italian sausage links (casing removed) shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic crushed shopping list
- 2 tbsp dried onion flakes shopping list
- 2 tbsp parsley shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 tbsp italian seasoning shopping list
- salt & pepper to Taste shopping list
- Balance of pot: shopping list
- 1/2 cup red wine shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 2 red peppers chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- 1/2 stick pepperoni, diced/cubed shopping list
- 2 can (4 oz) drained mushroom shopping list
- 1 (14.5) petite diced tomatoe (with juice) shopping list
- 32 oz beef broth shopping list
- salt, pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 tbsp each: basil, italian seasoning, oregano, Rosemay, thyme shopping list
- 1 tbsp quick tapicoa shopping list
- 3/4 cup dried Great Northern white beans shopping list
- 1 pkg brown gravy mix shopping list
How to make it
- In dutch oven: saute sausage (crumbled) until no longer pink,
- Remove with slotted spoon,
- (Mix chop meat with top section of ingredients (eggs, garlic, dried onion, parsley, cheese, bread crumbs, Italian Seasoning, salt & pepper))
- Roll meat into 1" size meatballs and saute in pan with oil (you may need to add a little more, so they do not stick)
- Remove meatballs
- Saute veggies till tender
- Add red wine and scrap bottom of pan,
- Add Broth, tomatoes in can bring to boil
- Lower heat and add balance of ingredients
- Bring to slow boil
- Cover and bake at 325 for about 2 hours (too long and the meatballs will begin to fall apart)
- Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes or with a good loaf of bread
