Cherry Cheese Streusal Pizza

This is a dessert pizza of course! Restaurant recipe from my files Remember to precook that crust before placing on the toppings!
Ingredients
- 12-inch fresh or parbaked pizza crust: bought or homemade shopping list
- 8 ounces quality cream cheese filling see below shopping list
- 14 ounces cherry topping ( quality thick canned pie filling or your own cooked cherry topping ) shopping list
- 3 ounces streusel topping , see below shopping list
- cream cheese Filling: shopping list
- 12 ounces softened cream cheese shopping list
- 3 ounces granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 medium egg shopping list
- Streusel Topping: shopping list
- 3 cups sifted, all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup room temp margarine shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Prep time does not include the time of making or precooking the pizza dough
- Mix cream cheese filling ; spread evenly over fresh or parbaked pizza dough.
- Spread cherry topping over cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle with streusel topping mixture.
- Bake at 500 degree until cheese filling sets and streusel is slightly browned (7-9 minutes).
- Cool and serve.
- filling:
- Cut cream cheese into sugar; add egg.
- Blend at medium speed until fluffy
- streusal:
- Mix flour and brown sugar; cut in margarine; mix in pecans and ground cinnamon.
