Grand Central Cream Cheese Apple Cake

- 3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 cup butter softened shopping list
- 12 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 3 cups peeled diced tart apples shopping list
- Sifted powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then grease and flour a tube pan.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon then set aside.
- Beat butter, cream cheese and sugar for 8 minutes on medium speed.
- Beat in eggs one at a time scraping sides of bowl between additions then beat in vanilla.
- Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add flour mixture.
- Stop mixing as soon as the flour is incorporated then gently fold in the apples.
- Pour batter into prepared pan then bake 1 hour.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
- Cool completely and top with sifted powdered sugar.
