Creamy Tuscan Style Spread

- 1 1/4 cups canellini beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1-2 tbsp bean liquid (or water) shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 1 green onion, minced shopping list
- 4 oz fat free cream cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1 cup (8 oz) canned artichoke hearts (packed in water), drained well and diced shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- In a food processor, puree beans with enough of the bean liquid or water to make a thick paste.
- Add garlic and green onion, puree completely.
- Blend in cream cheese, yogurt and dried herbs.
- Pulse in artichoke hearts and lemon juice until mixed, then transfer to a bowl or serving dish and chill before using.
