How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350
  • In large frying pan, heat about 4 tbsp olive oil. Add meat and brown on all sides, sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder and sazon
  • Put in dutch oven (at least 6 quarts)
  • Add onion, garlic and peppers
  • In bowl mix all other ingredients, blend
  • Pour over pan mixture
  • Cover and bake at 350 for about 90 minutes
  • Lower oven to 300 and continue baking till meat in tender and almost falling apart.
  • Note: Watch carefully that the bbq sauce does not start to be soaked up and burn, if so add a little more water/broth (not too much)
