How to make it

  • In a saucepan or small pot, add veg oil, onion and fideo, toast until fideo is brown. Add about 2-3 cups of water. And all other ingredients except cilantro and cheese. Cook until fideo is tender. serve and top with chopped cilantro and crumbled cheese or even a squeeze of lemon juice.

    As you might guess, there is no Mexican section at my store. I can't even but tortillas here and have to have them brought in from American Samoa. Do you know how to make fideo? I can look it up on the net but bugging you is easier. Chuckle. RJ
