Polar Bear Snickerdoodles

These are a winter/christmas cookie, fairly easy and kids love them! As this is an off season for christmasy cookies, the photo is from Pillsbury, I will have my own photo in Dec.!!!
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 1 c. butter shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 1/4 c. flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- for decoration: shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
- miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- red cinnamon candies(red hots or other) shopping list
How to make it
- in a large bowl combine sugar and butter, beat until light and fluffy
- add egg, beat well
- add flour and cinnamon, mix well
- cover and refrigerate 1 hour for easy handling.
- Preheat oven to 350
- for each cookie:
- shape dough into a 1 in. ball, place 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly
- shape 3 more 1/4 in balls, place 2 balls above and touching the larger ball for the ears, and the last ball on top to resemble a snout
- bake for 11-15 minutes
- immediately remove from cookie sheets,
- lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar
- press on 2 mini chips for eyes
- and 1 cinnamon candy on the snout for a nose
