How to make it

  • Combine 1½ cups of flour, salt and yeast mix.
  • Melt the honey in the hot water and add to the flour mixture.
  • Add oil and gradually add extra flour * knead until forms a soft bread dough.
  • Heat oil for deep-frying and let dough rise until oil is heated.
  • In a small separate bowl combine ¼ cup cinnamon, ½ cup sugar mix and set aside.
  • Form the dough into little balls** (you can do any shape) and deep fry until golden about 3 min.
  • Once golden remove from the oil. Give it a brisk shake and roll it in the cinnamon and sugar.
  • Let the cinnamon covered balls sit on a rack and dry for five minutes.
  • *Note you do not have to use all the flour.
  • **Note the balls will get bigger while deep-frying.

Well...this one I could not pass up.

Throw down that stetson, take off those spurs

    ~and~

    Man oh Man!!!

Time makes for a good rise in the yeast...

Which in turn, yields an excellent dough.

Honey,Sugar, and a sprinkle of crimson cinnamon...

Are combinations that can't be beat.

    Thank-you for this great recipe.

    Kind Regards

    Joyce
