How to make it

  • Heat 2 Tbs oil in skillet over med. heat. Add the garlic and cook till it softens slightly,about 1 min. Add the brandy and swirl pan till alcahol evaporates. Add the wine and 1/4 c water and cook to reduce slightly,3 to 4 mins.
  • Stir in the parsley,1/2 tsp salt and pepper to taste. Tranfer the mixture to a blender with 2 Tbs oil and puree till smooth.Cover and set aside.
  • When ready to serve,heat remaining 2 Tbs oil in skillet over high heat. Add the shrimp;cook till just pink,1 to 2 mins.
  • Add the green sauce,season with salt and pepper and warm through. Drizzle with olive oil or water to lossen sauce. Serve with bread.

    Pleclare, you do know that this is cruelty to animals? What a terribly delicious way and reason to sacrifice some shrimp. One animal you are not being cruel to is me. Thanks for the post. RJ
