Carmelized Vegetables Recipe
This dish brings a sweet zesty flavor to ordinary vegetables. Great for kids who complain about veggies!

Ingredients
  • any mix of colorful, stir-fryable vegetables:
  • Some suggestions:
  • red pepper
  • green pepper
  • carrot
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • zucchini
  • yellow squash
  • onion
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • olive oil

Directions
  1. Clean and cut veggies into bite size bits.
  2. Heat oil in wok.
  3. Add veggies.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar over veggies.
  5. Stir constantly.
  6. Cook until tender crisp.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Oh this does sound yummy. I have some green peppers and zucchini and squash that I am going to try thos on for tonight's dinner. Thanks for posting.


I fiddled with this recipe after having something similar at a Chinese restaurant. This is simple, but it works! I hope you like it!
