Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

6 squares semi-sweet chocolate

1/4 cup heavy cream

4 egg yolks slightly beaten

4 egg whites

1/4 cup sugar

2-3 tbsp of your favorite liquor

pinch of salt

1 pint whipping cream

Directions

Melt chocolate over hot water

When melted add cream, salt and liquor

Beat till creamy and thick with whip

Beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar until soft peaks form

Beat cream with powedered sugar until stiff

Fold in egg white to chocolate mixture

Fold in whipped cream

Refrigerate several hous

Top with shaved chocolate and whip cream

My sons girlfriend adds this to our Christmas Eve dinner every year. While she is making it for us her and her mom make it for their grandmom when they go to see her. Her grandmother literally goes and hides it and almost gets drunk from it. She usually 4x's the recipe.
