Easy beer brisket

- 1 pkg dry onion soup mix shopping list
- 1, 12 oz can of beer shopping list
- 1, 12 oz bottle of ketsup shopping list
- 1, 5 lb flat cut beef brisket shopping list
How to make it
- Combine soup, beer and ketsup
- place brisket in roasting pan, pour beer mixture over and under brisket
- Bake 350F about 3 hours or until meat is fork tender
- Let meat cool in sauce completely
- Slice against the grain and place back in sauce and reheat to serve
- Thicken sauce with gravy flour if desired
- Note: although not stated in the recipe, when I do brisket I cover pan tightly with foil!!
