How to make it

  • Combine soup, beer and ketsup
  • place brisket in roasting pan, pour beer mixture over and under brisket
  • Bake 350F about 3 hours or until meat is fork tender
  • Let meat cool in sauce completely
  • Slice against the grain and place back in sauce and reheat to serve
  • Thicken sauce with gravy flour if desired
  • Note: although not stated in the recipe, when I do brisket I cover pan tightly with foil!!

    OK, let's see here. Beer....beef....ketchup....soup package... yup that's real man food. What's not to like? How do I rate this a 6 or better?
