How to make it

  • In bowl,stir together bbq sauce,whiskey,vinegar,chili powder and cinnamon. Reserve 2/3 c sauce mixture;place remaining sauce in large plastic resealable storage bag. Pierce chicken with for;add to bad with sauce,making sure all chicken pieces are coated.
  • Seal bag;refrigerate 2 hours,turning occasionally.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line jelly roll pan with foil;coat with cooking spray Remove chicken from bag,letting excess sauce drip off;discard bag with sauce.
  • Arrange chicken ,skin side up on pan. Roast till no longer pink near bone,45-50 mins,brushing with reserved sauce mixture several times during last 20 mins of cooking time.
