How to make it

  • In bowl, mix dressing ingredients all together, cover and shake well to mix flavors (use a jar if you wish)
  • In large bowl, put all other ingredients in
  • Pour dressing over top and mix well
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight
  • Before serving, top with fresh basil

    Nice combo but maybe a bit generous with the vinegar. The usual rule of thumb for such dressings is a spendthrift for the oil, a miser for the vinegar and a madman for the tossing. Also, the canned olives are going to give a metallic taste so maybe jars would be better. Basically, a nice ingredient combo. RJ
