Bread Machine Recipe - I adjusted a white bread recipe to make this Brown Sugar Oat Bread. The flavors are just right, and not overpowering. It turned out so good we ate ½ of it before remembering to take a picture.

- ½ Cup Quick Oats
- 3 TBSP Brown Sugar
- 2 TBSP Dry Milk
- 1 ½ tsp. Salt
- 3 TBSP softened Grade AA Butter
- 2 tsp. Active Dry Yeast

1 ½ Cups Warm water shopping list
3 ½ Cups white flour shopping list
½ Cup quick oats shopping list
3 TBSP brown sugar shopping list
2 TBSP dry milk shopping list
1 ½ tsp. salt shopping list
3 TBSP softened Grade AA butter shopping list
2 tsp. active dry yeast shopping list

How to make it

Place all ingredients in order into the bread machine. Use all standard settings on the machine, medium crust color.
This is a full size loaf, so check you machine capacity before beginning.

This looks wonderful. My breadmaker is for a 1-1/2 or 2 lb loaf. Will this work?

Turned out well on my second attempt. First time had yeast trouble. Added some pics for you. Hand kneaded and baked at 350 for 35 minutes.

How did I miss this? I found it in the home page! I believe my bread machine is for 1 1/2 lbs...is it big enough for this recipe???
